Style & Branding
Animation is versatile, which is great for storytelling, but you want a specific look and feel to your video. We build that look.

Storyboarding
Scene by scene we plan out the animation, building a storyboard to visualise the final product and align each element.

Illustration & Design
I start creating the final-version illustrations based on the style frames and storyboard - visuals ready to be woven together with motion and sound.

Voiceover
If the video includes voiceover work, we get that underway so that it’s ready to be a foundation for the animation.

Will you collaborate with our own internal team?

Absolutely! I work with a whole range of clients, from local councils to businesses of all sizes - each have their own ideas share and each prefers a different level of involvement in the process. I can customise my process to collaborate with your team, take the reins of the project, or anywhere in between.

How long will it take to deliver a polished, ready-to-go explainer video?

It depends a great deal on the complexity, length, involvement of your team and many, many other factors. The timeline will be something that we decide on early, and we can plan our work to align with a campaign that you’ve scheduled. I’ve found that most explainer videos take around three weeks to complete.

How does your review process work? Will we get a chance to make changes?

My process absolutely includes several opportunities to review and make changes to the project to make sure your animation hits all the right notes. But I also devise my engagement process to produce very comprehensive, accurate briefs. The major elements of your animation will be decided early on so late-project changes are minor and rare.

We have a message to project, but aren’t sure about scripting for a video - will you help?

Animation scripts are a little different to media releases, it’s true, and I’m always available to include my expertise in any area where you aren’t confident.
